Mr. Zero body
Like everyone else, she too had a best friend. But unlike
many others her friend had told her to keep mum about his presence in her life.
She used to call him Mr. Zero body because of his appearance with no eyes, no
ears, no mouth, nothing that could define that shape as face, not even brain
but a whole black shape. However, he had a very great significance in her life;
a parasitic friend. He used to live in her cupboard. She first met
Mr. Zero
Body 2 years ago in the funeral of his father behind the trees across
the road looking straight at her even if he had no eyes. Since then he stayed
with her, where she had kept the gifts of her father. Mr. Zero Body got himself
buried under the precious memories of her father. She used to live alone but she
was never lonely. Whenever was she lonely, he would always be there by her
side.
At the peak of her loneliness her best friend used
to show up from the cupboard. When she
needed a friend a black hand had started
emerging out from the gap between the doors taking support from that hand
keeping it on her bookshelf next to the cupboard brought his another hand out. Then
stretching and spreading slowly in all her room covering the cupboard and
bookshelf and the corresponding wall, his presence clouded the whole room.
Moved forward like a wild fire he ate up everything thing in that room and made
it black like him. He ate up the light of the room, the photos of her family, and
memories of her father.
The room filled with nothing and as a well wisher he
passed her a bottle of antidepressant,
the way the serpent had given the forbidden apple to Eve as he wanted to help
her to get rid of everything that bothering her.
One fine day she had left her own body leaving her
mom alone standing with many others crying on her lifeless body.
Then her mother had no one else to live with when
she noticed and a hand like structure behind the trees across the road. Mr. Zero
body had left her cupboard, the way she had left her body, to be a friend of
her mother.
